Shipping policy

I wish I could offer free postage and free returns within Australia and anywhere in the world; I really do. But the reality is that I'm not a multinational company or even a big business; I'm a proud small business woman who loves gorgeous long shoes and wants to make them available to everyone.

Your order isn't packed in a warehouse or a distribution centre; it's packed with love and care in my little shop in Hawthorne, Brisbane. There's no huge team of people doing this; just myself and a few beautiful casual staff.

Australia is a huge country and a long way from most places on the planet and postage charges reflect this. The $50 that I charge for international orders and the $12.50 that I charge for Australian orders does not cover the cost; I absorb the balance and for the time being, it's the best I can do. I will always monitor this and look out for better price opportunities. 

POSTAGE FOR AUSTRALIAN CUSTOMERS:

Postage is $12.50 per order no matter how many shoes you fall in love with.

If you before 1pm on a weekday, most orders to metropolitan areas will be received the next one or three business days by Couriers Please. Woohoooo! You will receive tracking updates throughout the process. We use Australia Post for other areas, especially to regional towns and to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers. One of the team will send you a tracking number the day after we post them to you. 

If you live in Brisbane or are visiting, you can Click and Collect and visit my Hawthorne shop to collect your order.

POSTAGE FOR NEW ZEALAND CUSTOMERS:

Postage is $20 for each order, which will be sent by Australia Post and can take around 5 work days for delivery.

All international orders may be subject to duties and taxes, for which The Shoe Garden is not liable. For further information on taxes, duties and customs regulations, please contact your local customs office.

POSTAGE FOR CUSTOMERS IN THE UK & EUROPE:

Postage is $50 for each order, which will be sent by Australia Post and can take 5-6 work days for delivery.

POSTAGE FOR CUSTOMERS IN THE US & CANADA:

Postage is $50 for each order, which will be sent by Australia Post and can take around 5 work days for delivery to the US and around 9 work days for delivery to Canada.
