9 years ... it's time to celebrate!

Nine years ago, I opened the door of The Shoe Garden for the first time, filled with pride, anticipation and excitement.

Nine years later, I still feel that every time I open my front door.

From having no experience in business, shoes or retail, what I had were size 12 feet and the knowledge that it was so hard to find shoes that fit, let alone were fabulous.

I also knew that putting my customers first, always and every time, was key to my success, as well as sharing my journey and adventure with them.

I have made a lot of mistakes over this time, but I have learned even more: about business, about life and about myself.
